What are Aesthetics?

Aesthetics are a set of appreciations that a person may have for a type of art, clothing, music genre, or make-up look. Aesthetics are very important when it comes to making art since many different people might have or like the same aesthetic as your own. For example, I love the aesthetics of tattoo illustrations. I love the sharpness and clean look it provides, so that is what I try to make my art look like.
